BBQ Squid Rings



  • 500 gms squid tubes, cut into rings
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp finely shredded lemon rind
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • cracked black pepper
  • lemon juice


  1. Combine olive oil, garlic, lemon rind, lemon juice and black pepper. Add squid rings and coat with mixture.
  2. Allow to stand for 15 to 20 mins then drain.
  3. Cook squid rings over high heat on BBQ plate for 2-3 mins or until white.
  4. Sprinkle with extra lemon juice and black pepper before serving.
